The Bible teaches that every local church should be under the oversight of a group of elders (also known as pastors). At the church of Christ in Freeport, we have two men specially chosen to shepherd God's flock.
 | Bruce Harbach became an elder on November 9,2003. He is married to Karen and they have three children together: Katie, Doug, and Leanne. In addition to tending the sheep of the Lord's church, Bruce tends the family farm located just outside of town. |
 | Jeff White became an elder on September 17, 2006. He is married to Allison and they have a son, Ben. Jeff also serves as evangelist here at the Freeport Church of Christ. |
"I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight..."
